My name is Jason Herman. I am an avid car enthusiast, having purchased almost 300 personal vehicles in my life, and a 23 year veteran of the auto finance industry. I spent 20 years managing vehicle lease end operations and lease end/repossession sales for U.S. Bank at the Senior Vice-President level, as well as 4 additional years in the dealer, rental return, fleet lease, and third party remarketing spaces in senior and executive roles. This has provided me a deep understanding of bank, captive finance company, and dealership operations. My job was to both mitigate losses during down used car markets and to maximize gains during periods of limited supply of used vehicles, as well as to set residual values. Both scenarios saved or added millions of dollars to the bottom line and required vastly different approaches and experience to be successful. I have been nationally recognized for my achievements by both employers and third party businesses operating in this space.

I am now offering my experience and knowledge to help you with important decisions around buying or selling your next vehicle or determining what to do with your lease end vehicle when it is time to turn it in or replace it. Purchasing a vehicle is often the second largest purchase the average consumer makes in their lifetime. Vehicles are generally depreciating assets, so every dollar matters when approaching their purchase or sale. Making the wrong decisions can be detrimental to your financial future and become a burden to achieving your monetary goals for years to come. We are talking potentially thousands of dollars between a successful negotiation and the average consumer outcome when buying a vehicle. Further, a maturing lease provides an opportunity to put some money in your pocket or to learn how to save yourself from excess wear and tear or termination fees. When working at the bank, I was always amazed how many customers turned in their vehicle when they could have profited in one way or another. Don't make the same mistake they did. Please.
